Special Projects Manager - Operations

New Yesterday

Overview

32Co is disrupting the healthcare space. Our vision is to use technology to help all clinicians deliver the latest innovations in healthcare and improve the standard of care for millions of people.

We’re an award-winning, Tier 1 VC backed Health Technology product solving a multi-billion dollar problem, with backing from the people behind Revolut, City Mapper and Depop. As we expand operations across the UK and further afield, our mission is gaining momentum.

The role

This is a rare opportunity to join a top healthtech startup and take a leading role in building out and scaling an already market-leading product and service.

This is an ideal role for a smart, proactive generalist early in their career. You’re as confident working with data and using insights to drive decisions as you are chatting with customers, owning and leading product improvements and working highly cross-functionally.

You’ll get genuine ownership of meaningful problems, and the support to grow and develop quickly.

You’ll be trusted to audit, spot improvement opportunities, and deliver proactive service enhancements across the whole clinical journey. You’ll report into our VP Operations & Strategy and work closely with our leadership team.

This is not a back-seat role; you’ll have the chance to meaningfully shape the direction of our operations and service as we scale. This is a launchpad for future leadership roles in ops, product, or strategy.

Why now?

32Co is growing fast, and we want to scale our operations without compromising the exceptional service for which dentists love us. You’ll be joining at a pivotal time, when you’ll directly shape how we operate at 10x the size. If you’re excited about applying your analytical, product and customer-centric mindset to real-world healthcare challenges, let’s talk! What will I be doing?

What will I be doing?

You should take this job description with a pinch of salt. The right person in this role will quickly throw themselves into a variety of challenging and rewarding work, roaming across the company depending on business need and impact.

Here’s a flavour of what you’ll be getting stuck into:

• Leading and taking true ownership of high-impact operational projects that supercharge our service and position us well as we continue to scale.

• Working on 0→1 initiatives that could become core to how we deliver our product or scale across markets and verticals.

• Gaining cross-functional exposure, working across different areas of the business and developing a deep understanding of how startups operate.

• Build with cutting-edge AI and technology, driving forward our operational product.

• Analysing structured and unstructured data to dig into the root cause of problems, uncover opportunities for improvement and build solutions.

• Embracing continuous evolution of your role, with the opportunity to keep growing, learning and developing over time.

Dentist & Patient Experience: Maintain our 4.98/5 satisfaction rating across speed and quality as we 2x, 5x and 10x volume.

You’ll thrive in this role if:

You’re a proactive self-starter: unafraid to figure things out, you don’t wait to ask but anticipate needs and build solutions before issues arise. You love the idea of being able to ideate and build without any red tape.

You’re analytical: You love diving into data, spotting trends, and uncovering root causes. Ideally you’ll have experience with tools like SQL, Excel/GSheets, Looker or Python.

You love product & tech: You’re excited about how technology, AI and automation can improve healthcare - making it faster, smarter, more personalised and delightfully human at scale. Ideally, you’ll have some experience of working with a product team.

Your bar for quality is exceptionally high: your default mindset is “how can we make this better”, never accepting the status quo.

You’re focused and disciplined: You move with urgency, clarity, and precision. You can manage and remain resilient in the face of complexity and many competing demands.

You’re a team player and great communicator: Success is contingent on working well with dentists and patients, plus internal teams like product, engineering, and clinical.

You’re high EQ as well as IQ: You have an intuitive feel for our customers and what an excellent service should feel like - both now and in the future.

What Growth Looks Like:

Top performers are given fast-paced progression opportunities and the freedom to shape their own career path. We want you to be the platform to accelerate your career growth.

Within 3 months, you’ll independently be running data-driven analysis of our operation, suggesting process and product improvements, and contributing to ongoing projects.

Within 6 months, you’ll own key initiatives end‑to‑end—including automation and AI projects.
