Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join the MASH Team for Southwark Council
Duties and Responsibilities: * Triage and manage safeguarding referrals within a Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) environment. * Undertake rapid risk assessments and make informed threshold decisions in line with statutory guidance. * Gather, analyse, and share information with key partner agencies to support effective safeguarding outcomes. * Provide professional guidance and support to less experienced Social Workers within the team. * Ensure all contacts and referrals are progressed in a timely manner, prioritising high-risk cases. * Contribute to strategy discussions and decision-making processes relating to child protection concerns. * Maintain accurate, high-quality case recordings in line with legislative and local authority requirements. * Apply in-depth knowledge of safeguarding legislation, policies, and procedures in all aspects of practice.
Working Pattern: * Hybrid working
Pay Rate: * £39.04 p/h Umbrella
Essential Requirements: * Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent * Minimum 3 years' experience in children's social care * Significant experience within MASH / Front Door services * Experience supporting or mentoring junior staff * Social Work England Registration * Strong knowledge of safeguarding thresholds and multi-agency working
