Sous Chef Luxury Country Retreat I am looking for a passionate and creative Sous Chef to join anaward-winning kitchen team at a stunning countryside hotel and restaurant. Surrounded by beautiful landscapes, our kitchen champions the very best of seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, delivering exceptional dishes that celebrate modern British dining. As Sous Chef, youll play a key role in supporting the Head Chef, leading the team, and ensuring the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation. This is an exciting opportunity for a chef who thrives in a fast-paced yet nurturing environment and wants to contribute to a truly special dining experience. What youll be doing: Assisting the Head Chef in menu development and daily operations.
Leading, training, and motivating the kitchen team.
Maintaining impeccable standards of hygiene, stock control, and food safety.
Supporting the smooth running of service and ensuring guests enjoy outstanding food.
What I'm looking for: Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior Chef de Partie ready to step up.
A genuine passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
The ability to remain calm under pressure while delivering excellence.
