JOB DESCRIPTION
Are you an experienced sous chef looking for a new opportunity? Have you got a passion for crafting excellent food?
We have a vacancy for an experienced sous chef to join our team. Working on a full-time basis (40 hours per week), you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen, managing the profitability of the restaurant and providing excellent dishes that exceed our customers' expectations.
Key skills and responsibilities include:
Previous experience as a sous chef.
Directing team members to deliver an excellent, efficient service.
Organising and planning stock and food preparation.
Maintain a clean working environment, compliant with company standards, food hygiene procedures and legislation, and licensing laws at all times.
Positive work ethic and ability to be flexible with a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends.
Passionate about great food and the drive to excel in your field.
A strong eye for detail.
An effective team player who contributes to continuous business improvement.
Ability to work in a pressured environment.
Solid communication skills.
Being flexible and able to work a variety of shifts including night shifts and weekends.
