Responsibilities
Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate food production activities
Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and food preparation
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and kitchen cleanliness standards
Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients and supplies
Training and mentoring should come naturally, and this is a crucial element of the role
Contribute to creating an efficient and harmonious kitchen environment
Requirements
Previous experience working as a Sous Chef or similar role in the hospitality industry
Proficiency in culinary techniques, food production, and kitchen operations
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide kitchen staff
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
A passion for delivering high-quality dishes and exceptional dining experiences
