Enhance Catering is recruiting an experienced Sous Chef for a permanent Sous Chef role at a prestigious secondary school in Banstead (SM7) . This Sous Chef position offers structured shifts and great work-life balance in a professional kitchen environment.
Sous Chef Role
As Sous Chef , you will support the Head Chef to prepare fresh, nutritious meals for students while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and kitchen organisation . The Sous Chef will also help supervise the kitchen team and manage stock.
Hours
40 hours per week
Shifts:
07:00 15:00
10:00 18:00
11:00 19:00
12:00 20:00
There will be a mixture of all the shifts above
Alternate weekends required
Can accommodate long days (10-hour shifts)
Previous Sous Chef level experience required (2 years minimum)
Previous Care Home experience preferable
5-7 years experience in a Kitchen
Background of 5* Hotels or Restaurants (no pubs or cafes)
Previous culinary experience
Based in Banstead (SM7) (own vehicle required)
