Role Purpose Casual Sous Chef
£18.36 per hour + Holiday Pay

Copper Box Arena is seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our casual kitchen team on a flexible basis.
As one of London's premier sporting and events venues, we host a diverse range of activities from major sporting events to concerts and exhibitions, delivering high quality food service to thousands of guests.
We're looking for experienced culinary professionals who can work flexibly across our busy events calendar.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations during events
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation for our high volume event days
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene standards (HACCP), and health and safety regulations
Essential Requirements
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a professional kitchen
Experience in high volume catering / events
Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene
Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene certificate (minimum)
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple sections simultaneously
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and occasional weekdays
Right to work in the UK
