Sous Chef - Weekends Only

Have you got what it takes to join our team at The Bandstand? Highlands and Islands Pub of the Year 2025! We’re looking for an experienced Sous chef who is a great communicator, enthusiastic, hard-working, a real team player, creative, has ambition to develop and used to fast paced service. You will deputise for the Head Chef when required, run service, support menu development and create weekly specials and event menus. The Bandstand has a very strong reputation serving a mix of contemporary Scottish fayre, pub favourites and seasonal specials. The sea-view restaurant has over 50 covers with an additional 40 in the bar and 40 in the beer garden. During high season we regularly serve up over 200 covers per day. You’ll receive a competitive salary, performance related bonus, a share of tips and meal discounts for you and your immediate family. We offer flexible seasonal hours and will try to accommodate individual commitments such as travel, child care etc. This is a full-time permanent role with annualised hours based on 37.5 hours per week.
