We are seeking a passionate and driven Sous Chef to join a well-established, high-quality destination pub renowned for its commitment to seasonal British cuisine and exceptional standards.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented chef looking to work within a professional kitchen environment that values creativity, consistency, and progression.
The Role:
As Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes in line with the site's standards.
You will play a key role in leading the team, maintaining consistency, and contributing to menu development.
Requirements:
Proven experience working at Sous Chef level within 2 AA Rosette kitchens is essential
Strong understanding of fresh, seasonal British cuisine
Ability to lead, motivate, and develop junior team members
Excellent organisational and communication skills
A genuine passion for food and hospitality
Must be able to drive due to the rural location
What's on Offer:
Salary of £38,000 - £45,000, depending on experience
Excellent tronc worth approximately £12,000 per year
4.5 days per week, based on a 48-hour contract
