An opportunity has arisen for a Sous Chef to help lead the kitchen of a recently opened restaurant, which is part of a reputable group. Package of £50,000 per annum 48 hours per week (mixture of shifts) West London Specialising in seasonal Italian/Mediterranean cuisine using the finest ingredients, everything is produced in-house, including fresh pasta. Youd be helping to lead a kitchen team of 10 Chefs, overseeing services for up to 150 covers served from a brand-new open-plan kitchen. The Sous Chef will support the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ordering, stock control, and the recruitment and development of the junior Chefs. Desired skills and attributes: Previous experience as a Sous Chef within a busy quality restaurant. A passion for Mediterranean/Italian cuisine (fresh pasta). Proficient knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Safety. A positive leader who will promote a sense of collaboration. Availability to work a mixture of shifts throughout the week.
