We are seeking an experienced AWS Solutions Architect to support long-term public sector programmes within a secure consulting environment. This role will suit someone with a strong background in consulting and public sector delivery , comfortable operating in client-facing and highly regulated settings.

Responsibilities Design and deliver AWS-native cloud architectures for public sector clients
Define and implement cloud architecture design patterns and best practices
Act as a client-facing technical lead, translating business and policy requirements into technical solutions
Provide mentoring and architectural guidance to engineering teams
Embed FinOps principles to manage and optimise cloud spend
Ensure solutions align with SecOps and security-by-design standards
Contribute to architectural governance and assurance activities
Required Experience Proven experience as a Solutions Architect within AWS environments
Strong background in consulting and public sector delivery
Hands-on experience designing AWS-native architectures
Solid understanding of cloud design patterns and modern architecture approaches
Experience working in secure and regulated environments
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Practical experience with FinOps and SecOps practices
Security Requirements Active SC clearance is mandatory
Candidates must be eligible and willing to undergo DV clearance
