This is an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor - Litigation to join a legal team a market leading Social Housing provider. The role involves handling a variety of litigation cases particularly regarding housing management matter.Client DetailsThe organisation operates within the not-for-profit Social Housing sector and is recognised as market leading. They are committed to providing impactful services, with a focus on ethical practices and legal excellence.DescriptionIn this role you will be providing high quality legal advice and representation on litigation related matters (particularly regarding housing management matters) to the group.This will involve a varied caseload, as well as assisting more junior team members with more straightforward matters.You will build and maintain effective working relationships with the team's stakeholders, including colleagues, residents' solicitors, partners outside the Legal Services team and other third parties.Manage a diverse caseload of litigation matters, ensuring timely and effective resolution.Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on litigation issues.Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings and contracts.Represent the organisation in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all litigation activities.Collaborate with external legal counsel when required.Keep up-to-date with changes in legislation and case law relevant to the not-for-profit industry.Contribute to the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures.As an in‑house team the group also deal with a wide variety of contentious legal queries which you will support the business with, and you will have the option (if you choose) to follow a development pathway to grow your legal career with the organisation.ProfileThe successful will be a qualified CILEX Lawyer, Solicitor, or a Barrister with a practising certificate.They will have circa 2-5 years PQE working on litigation and housing management experience (particularly working in social housing or for other public sector bodies).Previous experience of dealing with litigation matters (including housing management matters).Housing sector specific experience is a pre‑requisite.Job OfferThis role comes with:Competitive salary ranging from £51,087 to £56,763.Comprehensive benefits package.Permanent position within a respected not-for-profit organisation.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Supportive and inclusive company culture.If you are a driven Solicitor - Litigation with a passion for the not-for-profit sector, we encourage you to apply and take the next step in your career. #J-18808-Ljbffr
