We are Telford & Wrekin Council, seeking a qualified solicitor with practising rights in the UK to join our Lexcel‑accredited Legal Team on a one‑year fixed‑term contract. You will support child safeguarding efforts across the council.
Responsibilities
Provide legal advice, assistance and support to council officers, elected members, and external clients.
Contribute to safeguarding initiatives, ensuring best practice for our most vulnerable residents.
Qualifications
Qualified solicitor with practising rights in the UK.
Experience or interest in children’s safeguarding (expected).
