You will be working with an experienced, friendly team under the Partner and associate who is Public Sector Lead for DAC Beachcroft CSG.The successful candidate will be dealing with a wide range of mainly but not exclusively public sector cases for local authorities such as housing associations, charities and other bodies. The team deals with mainly EL/PL, occupiers liability and highway liability with plenty of strong liability issues including cases which will go to trial.What you will do?You will be working in a team of fee earners handling mainly casualty injury cases.You will be required to run your own cases and assist with heavy weight cases including high profile catastrophic claimsYou will handle a varied workload in accordance with client protocols and with an appropriate level of supervision.You will exercise full compliance with DAC Beachcroft protocols on billing and credit control and demonstrate a high level of financial management in respect of own files.You will support marketing and business development activity within the team eg attending marketing events and client training.You will build an awareness of DAC Beachcroft's other services. Build effective internal and external networks.You will maintain an awareness of the firm's strategies and plansWho you areA qualified solicitor with previous experience in the following areas: employers liability and public liability (EL/PL), occupiers liability and highway liability claimsProven communication skills at all levelsExcellent relationship and client handling skills.
