We’re looking for a Solicitor or Senior Solicitor to join our Corporate Tax team—a collaborative group of solicitors, chartered accountants and chartered tax advisers who work together to deliver clear, pragmatic advice on UK and Scottish tax matters. Responsibilities
Corporate tax advisory on the tax aspects of company acquisitions, disposals and restructurings. Structuring of complex commercial property transactions and the design of tax-efficient employee share incentives. Support for the structuring of investment funds, advice on insolvency and restructuring transactions, and strategic tax planning alongside transactional support. Work with a varied client base and collaborate with colleagues across the firm to gain exposure to a wide range of work and develop deep technical expertise. Involvement in broader tax advisory matters, including employment taxes and standalone tax planning where appropriate. Work within a top-ranked Corporate Tax team (Chambers Band 1) and across other market-leading practice areas.
What is required
Ideally some exposure to tax either in studies or work experience Genuine interest in moving into this area of law
