The Company:

OXBO are partnered with a leading Renewable Energy business looking to hire a Senior Project Manager to their collaborative and social Glasgow team.


As Senior Project Manager you will oversee the delivery of utility-scale Solar and BESS projects from pre-construction through to handover to O&M.

The Role:

  • Manage overall delivery of multiple utility-scale Solar and BESS construction projects.
  • Take full responsibility for construction budgets, programmes, cash flow forecasting, and reporting at project and portfolio level.
  • Manage all aspects of projects, including Construction, Health & Safety, and quality standards across sites.
  • Lead relationships with EPCs, contractors and stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify construction risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to protect programme and cost.
  • Monitor and report deviations to scope, schedule, or budget, providing clear recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Support tendering activities, including review of contractor designs, methodologies, and commercial proposals.
  • Assist with contract negotiations and management.
  • Provide technical and construction input throughout design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.


What you will bring:

  • Minimum of 7 years experience within the renewable energy industry, including project management within the development and delivery phases.
  • Experience in contract preparation, negotiation and administration.
  • Strong knowledge of UK & Ireland Construction, CDM, Health & Safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Experience in working with grid operators and managing the delivery of grid connections.
  • Commercially astute, with experience managing contractors, variations, and risk
  • Confident communicator with stakeholders and contractor management skills.
  • Highly organised and detail oriented.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to site as required.
