Solar PV Installation Manager – Overview\n\nWe are working with an established and successful Renewable Energy company based in Merseyside who are involved of the full 360 project lifecycle of Solar PV Installations for both domestic & commercial Installations up to 1MW. They are seeking an experienced Solar PV Installation Manager to lead their current installations teams and project manage their large scale commercial projects and also some smaller domestic installations in the Northwest area, with occasional works further afield and nationwide.\n\nAs a company they work mainly on large commercial sites such as Schools, Colleges, Industrial Sites, Cattery’s and Kennels installing Solar PV and Battery Storage systems. Typical brands they install include Huawei, Sigen, Growatt & Fox.

You will be responsible for delivery of projects from cradle to grave and managing the field engineering staff. The team varies from job to job dependent on the size but typically consists of a minimum of 3 to 10 Engineers (Roofers & Electricians) depending on the size of the project. For commercial jobs, the Roofers and Electricians will work alongside each other simultaneously with the Electricians wiring up and commissioning the systems, whilst in the smaller domestic properties, the electrician will normally work within the property only.\n\nYou will split your time between on site and in office and this can vary depending on the size of the projects you’re currently working on.

For the larger projects you could be out of the office all week until completion, some weeks you will be in the office slightly more. If there is any work further away, all accommodation, travel & food will be paid for.
