Responsibilities and duties of the Civil Engineer role
Reporting to the Senior Civils Engineer, you will:
Deliver civil and structural designs for utility-scale solar PV and battery energy storage projects from early design through to construction Assess site conditions and determine appropriate solutions for foundations, piling, earthworks, drainage, and access infrastructure Review and interpret technical specifications, employer's requirements, and engineering drawings Evaluate site surveys and third-party reports, including geotechnical, flood risk, topographical, and hydrological studies Define scopes of work and technical requirements for civil subcontractors and external consultants Ensure all civil works comply with relevant standards, CDM re...
