Solar Electrician\n\nLocation: UK (site-based)\nJob Type: Permanent\n\nWe are seeking a skilled Solar Electrician to install, test, and commission solar PV systems on domestic and commercial properties. The role requires working safely at height, following UK electrical and health & safety regulations, and ensuring high-quality system performance.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Install and connect solar PV systems to the electrical network\n\n * \n\n Wire inverters, batteries, and control systems\n\n * \n\n Carry out testing, commissioning, and fault diagnosis\n\n * \n\n Ensure compliance with MCS standards, building regulations, and H&S requirements\n\n * \n\n Maintain accurate documentation and provide handover guidance to clients\n\nRequirements\n\n * \n\n Qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) with solar PV experience\n\n * \n\n Knowledge of UK electrical regulations and MCS standards\n\n * \n\n Ability to work at height and in outdoor environments\n\n * \n\n Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail\n\n * \n\n Full UK driving licence preferred\n\nDesirable Qualifications\n\n * \n\n Level 2/3 Award in Solar PV Installation\n\n * \n\n CSCS/ECS card\n\n * \n\n Working at Height / Manual Handling certification
