Role Summary

Our client, a a fast growing and award winning provider of Renewable Energy technologies on domestic projects are on the market to add a Solar PV Design Engineer to their team. Based in Manchester this client is a forward thinking company who have a great company culture and great progression opportunities.

Duties

As the Solar Design Engineer, you will be working closely with the Project and Design Team in supporting them with the design of pioneering and cutting edge solar PV systems for domestic projects.

* Manage and complete design packages for project proposals.

* Developing design concepts for the final connections into existing electrical infrastructure.

* Producing technical drawings.

* Producing project documentation.

* Using PVsol/PVSyst to complete designs to agreed standards.

* Proficient use of AutoCAD.

Requirements & Qualities

* You must have full rights to work in the UK, this client does not offer any kind of sponsorship.

* 1+ years’ experience in electrical system design within the domestic solar sector.

* Proficient in using PVsyst/PVSol or AutoCAD.

* Experience with design principles for domestic Solar PV designs.

* Good understanding of Electrical Systems
