Software Architect (SC Cleared)
Rate: £535/day (Inside IR35)
Location: Mostly remote (occasional travel to Telford, approx. twice per month)
Clearance: Active SC Clearance required (transferable) Duration: 6 Months (extension possible)
We are seeking an experienced Software Architect to join a large-scale public sector data and digital transformation programme . The role will focus on solution architecture, governance, and supporting delivery across complex enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
Define and maintain High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLD/LLD)
Provide architectural governance across data and integration solutions
Work closely with engineering teams to ensure scalable, secure designs
Support full development lifecycle activities (D4D)
Contribute to test automation and CI/CD alignment
Ensure compliance with architectural and security standards

Strong experience in public sector or regulated environments

Oracle SQL & PL/SQL

Jira & Confluence
Agile delivery environments
Data modelling and enterprise architecture
Berlin JobScheduler
Artifactory
Vault
Denodo (desirable)
Experience delivering large-scale data platforms and transformation programmes
Additional Information
Hybrid working: mostly remote with approx. 2 days per month onsite in Telford
Must hold active SC Clearance (transferable within UK government)
Prior government or regulated industry experience required
