About the Role \n\nWe are looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team, specialising in parenting assessments. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families by delivering high-quality assessments that inform care planning and safeguard vulnerable children.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nAs a Parenting Assessment Social Worker, you will:\n\nUndertake comprehensive parenting assessments, including pre-birth plans, to evaluate parental capacity and identify support needs.\nWork closely with families, professionals, and partner agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children.\nPrepare analytical, evidence-based reports for court proceedings and child protection conferences.\nContribute to safeguarding plans and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and best practice standards.\n\nKey Requirements\n\nSocial Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.\nMinimum 5 years post-qualification experience in statutory social work.\nProven experience in parenting assessments and core parent assessment training\nStrong understanding of child protection, safeguarding procedures, and relevant legislation.\nExcellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.\nAbility to work under pressure and manage a complex caseload effectively.\n If you thrive to make a difference and have Social worker experience and this is the role for you, then we would love to hear from you
