Job Details Grade: 9A Hourly Rate: £24.74 - £26.72 Salary: £45153.19 - £48766.68 per annum Contract Duration: Permanent Interviews will take place during the last two weeks of April Role Purpose Scottish Borders Council are looking to recruit a highly motivated, qualified Children and Families Social Worker to the Long Term Teams in Duns, to support the provision of good outcomes for children and young people. You will play a key role in ensuring the safe, effective and compassionate delivery of statutory social work services. You will hold a mixed caseload, working with children subject to child protection registration, Care Experienced Children, and those involved in permanence planning. You will work confidently within Child Protection Procedures and the Children s Hearing System, ensuring high quality assessment, planning and risk management, with a focus on children s rights. Essential Experience of working with children, families, young people and carers, including statutory work. A demonstrable commitment to anti-discriminatory practice. Ability to work independently.
