We are working with a large, inclusive 11–18 secondary school in the Wealden area of Kent, known for its respectful culture, strong sense of belonging, and ambitious approach to learning. They are seeking a Social Science Teacher who can confidently deliver across multiple key stages with full teaching responsibility.
The Role
You will be teaching:
KS3 RS (ERS)
KS4 Sociology
KS5 Criminology
KS5 Psychology
This is a full teaching role, requiring:
Planning engaging, well-structured lessons
Marking and effective feedback
Preparation of high-quality resources
Consistent classroom management and clear routines
The role runs from the start of the Easter term until the end of May, with the potential to extend depending on staffing after exam season.
About You
Strong background within secondary school teaching
Confident delivering RS, Sociology, Criminology and Psychology across relevant key stages
Comfortable taking full responsibility for planning, marking and assessment
QTS preferred (not essential for exceptional specialists)
Able to build positive relationships and maintain high expectations
