Snr Systems Engineer - Space Sensors

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join growing international space organisation as part of their continued growth, supporting innovative space sensor and communications projects across Europe.
Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary technical interface with customers and subcontractors
* Lead the definition of engineering requirements and development of innovative system architectures
* Establish system budgets and performance metrics
* Manage cross-functional teams through design, integration, and test phases
* Develop and implement simulators, test beds, and FlatSats
* Diagnose issues and deliver fully verified flight hardware
Experience:
* Proven commercial experience in spacecraft systems design, manufacturing, and testing
* Strong understanding of communications systems
* Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities
* Knowledge or hands-on experience with optics, optical sensors, or opto-mechanical assemblies
* Experience or familiarity with 5G technologies is a strong plus
