Morson Talent are currently recruiting for Slingers to work on-site in Rosyth Dockyard. Join a dynamic team supporting complex lifting and transport operations across a wide range of equipment including mobile cranes, Goliath cranes, overhead travelling cranes, forklift trucks, SPMTs, and other mechanical handling systems. You will be responsible for carrying out lifting activities safely and efficiently, in full compliance with the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) 1998 and all relevant method statements. This hands-on role requires a strong focus on safety, precision, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities Carry out lifting, turning, slinging, and transportation of plates, units, and equipment. Operate lifting and handling equipment including cranes, forklifts, sideloaders, telehandlers, MEWPs, and working at height systems. Perform routine equipment checks and ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures. Interpret and work from lifting and transport drawings and plans. Support planning and coordination of daily operations, including resource allocation and subcontractor liaison. Lead by example in maintaining team discipline, safe working practices, and high customer service standards. Promote a safety-first culture and take ownership of assigned tasks and continuous improvement initiatives.
