As the Sliding Head Setter you will be responsible for setting and operating Sliding Heads.Duties of the Sliding Head Setter:Set and Operate CNC sliding head machines such as Tornos Deco with a TB Deco and/or Fanuc control, Star Fanuc control, Hanwha with Fanuc controlFanuc programming (Deco programming as advantage)Focus on production of high-quality componentsMaintain the section with offsets and toolingLeaving work area/machines in good condition at the end of shift in terms of material toolingAbility to leave machines running safely to support next operator starting at 6:45amOccasional simple repeat change oversUsing measuring gaugesTo produce components within the agreed standard timeAbility to read and interpret drawingsWorking to tight tolerances and in process measurementsHigh precision tolerance works as well as volumeQuality control, working to customer specificationThe successful candidate for the Sliding Head Setters position will have the following experience:3 5 years experience Programming Setting and Operating Sliding HeadsExperience working with precision machined components (Essential)Ability to use handheld measuring equipment (Essential)You will be self-motivated, possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written to be able to communicate and build good relationships.Due to the high number of applications, we receive, we are sometimes not able to respond directly to each candidate.
