Morson are proud to be working in partnership with GKN to recruit Skilled Paint Sprayers to support their Aerospace programme at their Filton site.Skilled Paint Sprayer To operate as a multi skilled flexible worker to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency. Tasks will be undertaken and work through the issue of:Spraying, paint touch up and cleaning required use of: Power toolingSolvents and primer paints are required Duration: 12 months ongoingStandard Hours: Weekend Night Shift: 34hours per week, Friday, Saturday & Sunday (35 per week Core Days whilst training)Working Hours: Fri 8pm to 7am Saturday 7pm to 7am and Sunday 7pm to 6amRate: PAYE £29.10 with enahanced overtime ratesKey deliverables Ensure parts are produced on ‘right first time' basisEnsure that any calibrated equipment used is within dateResponsibility for the timely clearance of work phases using the SAP systemResponsible for highlighting any non conformance to the process team leaderAdhering to the requirements of GKNAF quality proceduresAccountable for health and safety requirements under the Section 7. Of the HASAWA 1974To hold first party inspection approval (M02 status is subject to obtaining an A stamp approval)Responsible for general housekeeping within the area Key SkillsA recognised paint spraying indentured apprenticeship and ideally previous manufacturing experience in a factory environment. Ability to work to standard operating proceduresMust be able to work in small teams with process leadersKnowledge of lean manufacturing principles and techniques to support GKNAF continuous improvement initiativesSelf motivated team player with good communication skillsJBRP1_UKTJ
