About The Role

Electrical Inspector will be based at our Barnstaple site. This role does require being onsite 5 days a week.
The salary for this role is up to £31k, depending on experience.

What you’ll be doing

Inspection of sub-contracted PECs, harnesses, electrical cabinets and electrical sub-assemblies
Inspection of internally manufactured assemblies, checking against wiring diagrams, cable schedules, drawings and parts lists
Writing of defect reports, raising of SIMS documents and provide electrical inputs into FAIR reports
Carry out insulation and continuity checks as required
Inspection of termination, crimping and soldering

Experienced within wiring processes
Be conversant with Electrical/Electronic Engineering drawings and be able to understand the requirement of
Cable selection
Terminal selection
Circuit diagram
PEC layouts
Component mount process
Understand the polarisation/orientation of components
Be aware of the risks around ESD and methods to reduce the risk
