This role offers the opportunity to work closely with Sixth Form students, supporting study skills, attendance, UCAS applications, and post-18 pathways within a structured and ambitious school environment.

Sixth Form Academic Mentor (Full-Time, Contract)
Immediate start
36 hours per week, term-time
Initial contract from April to August

The Role | Sixth Form Academic Mentor
As a Sixth Form Academic Mentor, you will:

Support students in developing effective study habits, independent learning, and time management
Mentor students and supervise structured private study sessions
Provide guidance on UCAS applications, personal statements, and post-18 pathways
Liaise with parents, staff, and external providers to support academic progress and wellbeing
Contribute to enrichment opportunities, including EPQ support and work experience coordination
Support students at risk of disengagement, ensuring they remain focused and on track

Qualifications | Sixth Form Academic Mentor

Graduate with a Bachelors degree in any subject from a Top UK university
Prior experience working with Sixth Form students, careers guidance, or KS5 student support
Confident in delivering both academic mentoring and pastoral support
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
