Site Services Team Leader
Location: Ruskington
Hours: Mon-Thurs 7am-7pm

Join our Engineering & Site Services team and play a key role in keeping our factory running safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards.
We're looking for a proactive, hands-on Site Services Team Leader to oversee all critical utilities that support high-care food production.

What You'll Do

• Lead the Site Services team and ensure reliable operation of refrigeration, steam, compressed air, HVAC, water systems, effluent, and factory utilities.
• Maintain compliance with BRCGS, HACCP, GMP, and high-risk zoning.
• Maximise uptime through strong fault-finding, monitoring, and preventative maintenance.
• Allocate work to engineers, manage PTW, ensure safe working, and keep accurate CMMS records.
• Oversee energy monitoring, chemical stock checks, water analysis, and cooling tower validation.
• Coordinate contractors and support CI projects for energy, water, and refrigeration performance.
• Ensure effective handovers, 5S standards, and audit-ready documentation.
• Train, coach, and support team development.
• Deputise for the Site Services Supervisor.

What You'll Bring

• Experience in site services/engineering within FMCG or food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration, steam, HVAC, compressed air, water treatment, and utilities.
• Supervisory or team-lead experience.
• Excellent electrical & mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Understanding of food safety, high-risk areas, HACCP, COSHH, and safe systems of work.
• Positive communicator with a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or time-served.
• H&S Level 2, Basic Food Safety, HACCP.
• L8 Legionella, Ammonia experience, IOSH (desirable).
• Confined Space, Working at Height, MEWP, Forklift, COSHH.
• BOAS (desirable).
