Job Title: Site-Based Quantity Surveyor
Location: Cannock
Contract Length: Minimum 12 months
Rate: From £450/day (Umbrella or CIS only)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support a major manufacturing facility project in Cannock. This is a site-based role, reporting functionally to the Construction Leader and operationally to the Project Director/Manager. You will also collaborate closely with the Contracts Management team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage monthly valuations and interim payments for Civil and M&E subcontract works
Assess and value variations, dayworks, and final accounts
Provide cost forecasts and analysis (Forecast vs Actual)
Support site management with cost estimates for variations and technical queries
Prepare cost impact assessments for changes or acceleration of works
Issue and manage early warning notices from subcontractors
General commercial support to the site construction team
Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar Quantity Surveyor role
Strong background in subcontract management (Civil and M&E)
Excellent cost forecasting and reporting skills
