Job Description

Working on behalf of our client based on a site in Strensham, Worcestershire. We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of groundworks, structural civils and cladding on a clean water site construction project. You will oversee all on-site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, to specification, and within budget.


Key Duties:


  • Manage day-to-day site operations for the Structural civils and cladding packages
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, suppliers, plant, and materials.
  • Liaise effectively with the client, design teams, and project stakeholders.
  • Oversee programme delivery, progress reporting, and quality control checks.
  • Lead safety briefings, toolbox talks, and site inspections.
  • Maintain accurate site records, drawings, and change documentation.


What we are looking for in the successful candidate:


  • Proven track record as a Site Manager on civil engineering projects in the water sector.
  • Experience in construction of portal frame buildings.
  • Strong understanding of HSE regulations and industry best practice (SMSTS certification required).
  • CSCS card (Black / Gold)
  • First Aid at Work qualification (desirable).
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • EUSR Water Hygiene


What our client can offer in return:


  • 8 month project
  • Day rate circa £350
  • Overtime every other weekend
