Job Title: Site Manager - Water (AMP8)Location: IpswichStart Date: Beginning of September 2025Employment Type: ContractDay Rate: £350 per dayWorking for a Tier 1 ContractorJob OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering critical water infrastructure projects under both the Southern Water AMP8 frameworks. This position is ideal for a proactive and safety-conscious professional with a strong background in the water or utilities sector.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee all site operations to ensure safe, timely, and cost‑effective project delivery.Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on‑site personnel.Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, environmental standards, and company policies.Maintain and manage site records including RAMS, permits to work, daily briefings, and reports.Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, engineers, and the project team.Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and deliver toolbox talks.RequirementsDemonstrable experience as a Site Manager in the water or utilities sector, ideally on AMP frameworks.SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) – Essential.Excellent working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.Valid CSCS card – Preferred.First Aid at Work – Desirable.Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.Contract DetailsStart Date: Early September 2025Day Rate: £350 per dayLong‑term opportunity with a well‑established Tier 1 contractor delivering AMP8 projects for Southern Water.--- Fusion People are committed to promoting equal opportunities to people regardless of age, gender, religion, belief, race, sexuality or disability.
