Freelance Site Manager – School Refurbishment Kent Freelance Contract | Immediate Start

We’re currently seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a live school refurbishment project in Kettering. This is a great opportunity for a capable, hands-on professional to lead a fast-track project with a reputable main contractor.

The Role:

Managing the day-to-day operations of the site

*

Coordinating subcontractors and trades

*

Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to spec

*

Liaising with the client and maintaining site records

*

Managing logistics and site access in a live school environment

*

Ensuring health & safety protocols are strictly followed

Requirements:

*

Proven experience managing school or public-sector refurbishments

*

Strong understanding of working in live environments

*

Valid SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS (Black/Gold preferred)

*

DBS check

*

Strong leadership and communication skills

*

Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
