Freelance Site Manager - New Build Retail Project Location: Bridgend, WalesDuration: Immediate start - NovemberRate: Competitive (dependent on experience) We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a new build retail store project in Bridgend. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast‑paced project with an immediate start and a strong pipeline through to completion in November. Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day management of site operations Coordinating subcontractors and trades on site Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard Maintaining health & safety compliance and site documentation Liaising with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders Monitoring progress and reporting to senior management
Requirements
Proven experience as a Site Manager on new build retail or commercial projects Valid SMSTS certification CSCS Black Managers Card (essential) First Aid at Work certification Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to hit the ground running and manage a live site independently
