Site Manager – Solar Farm Project Start: 11th / 18th August 2025 | ⏳ Until: Christmas 2025 / January 2026 Contract Role | Negotiable Day Rate
My client are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the on-site delivery of a solar farm installation in Bristol. With the project valued between £2.5 million and £4 million, this is a key role requiring hands-on leadership and deep knowledge of solar farm construction.
About the Role:
You will oversee the full lifecycle of the build – from civil and electrical works through to final commissioning. This includes:

Managing fencing, drainage, cabling, and infrastructure
*
Overseeing subcontractors and ensuring work meets design/specifications
*
Coordinating with the design team and project stakeholders
*
Maintaining quality control, health & safety, and timelines
✅ Requirements:
*
Proven experience managing the build of solar farms
*
Civils or electrical background essential
*
Strong understanding of all phases: design, build, and commissioning
*
Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
*
Capable of taking full site responsibility and driving progress
