Summary: Join our dynamic team as a Site Manager at Heathrow Airport, where you will be pivotal in delivering multi-million-pound electrical and civil construction projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will oversee the construction of substations and transformer enclosures on clients' LV to 132kV Networks. Your role involves coordinating and supervising on-site construction activities from inception to completion, acting as the principal contact for the client. You will manage site operatives and subcontractors, develop and implement safety documentation, and liaise with clients to ensure project delivery aligns with the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Your expertise will drive the procurement of materials, resolve on-site issues, and compile essential documentation for project handovers. Skills: Experience in Operational Construction Understanding of the electrical distribution network Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and client liaison abilities Proficient in identifying and rectifying on-site hazards Competency in compiling project documentation Ability to manage and coordinate subcontractors and site personnel Knowledge of NEC contracts Experience with cost/value reporting Certifications & Standards: CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme IOSH or similar Health & Safety Qualification PASMA certification for scaffold erection Temporary Works Supervisor certification Full UK driving licence
