OverviewA leading principal contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join the delivery team on a major commercial project. This role is suited to a highly capable individual with a strong track record managing complex build programmes and coordinating site operations on projects valued in excess of £10m (minimum 5 years).To be considered for this position you must be based within 1 hour maximum of Oxford.The successful candidate will have experience working with tier one contractors and will be confident overseeing all site activities while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality and programme delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day site operations on commercial construction projects valued at £10m+Coordinate and supervise subcontractors across externals and groundworks packagesMaintain strict adherence to health and safety standards across site operationsOversee QA processes and ensure work is delivered in line with specifications and drawingsInterpret technical drawings and communicate requirements clearly to site teamsManage site logistics including deliveries, storage and site access planningMonitor progress against programme and report to senior managementEnsure all works are completed to programme, budget and quality expectationsRequirementsMinimum 5 years experience working as a Site Manager on £10m+ projectsProven experience delivering commercial construction projects valued £10m+Experience working with tier one contractorsStrong background in externals and groundworks packagesExcellent knowledge of health and safety regulations and site complianceAbility to interpret technical drawings and specificationsHighly competent in managing site logistics and coordinating deliveriesStrong leadership and organisational skillsQualificationsSMSTSFirst Aid at WorkDesirableTemporary Works qualification or experience acting as Temporary Works Coordinator / SupervisorThis is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering high quality commercial projects with a strong pipeline of work. #J-18808-Ljbffr
