Job Title: Site Manager – Warehouse Fit-Out
Location: Dallington, Northants
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Until November/December 2025 (potential extension)
Rate: £280 - £300 pd
Project Overview
We are supporting the delivery of a major multi-level warehouse facility, spanning over 2 million square feet across four floors. The project includes several ancillary spaces such as welfare areas, offices, breakout zones, and toilet blocks, with the primary focus on the installation and commissioning of the warehouse’s technical infrastructure.
Role Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Site Manager to lead and coordinate the warehouse fit-out package. You will be responsible for overseeing specialist subcontractors, ensuring quality, health and safety, and programme compliance throughout the internal works.
Key Responsibilities

Day-to-day management of internal warehouse fit-out activities
*
Oversee key building services, including:
*
Sprinkler systems
*
Ductwork
*
Cold water main installations
*
Electrical containment (primary and secondary)
*
Supervise site operatives (approx. 50 on average; up to 100 during peak periods)
*
Coordinate works across multiple floors (typically two at a time)
*
Use internal project systems for snagging and progress tracking (training will be provided)
*
Ensure health & safety compliance and quality assurance
*
Liaise with subcontractors, internal stakeholders, and the main contractor team
*
Attend site meetings and provide updates to the project lead
Requirements
*
Site management experience on large-scale warehouse or industrial fit-out projects
*
Strong knowledge of internal fit-out practices, especially with M&E interface
*
Ability to manage teams of 50–100 operatives
*
Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills
*
SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications ()
*
Comfortable with learning internal project software/tools (training provided)
Desirable
*
Background in logistics, distribution, or large industrial build programmes
*
Experience working on multi-floor warehouse schemes
*
Familiarity with structured snagging and QA processes
