Highly regarded contractor are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their growing division in the North East. Working on projects up to £30m in the region, and a turnover of £100m. The company are looking for someone who has worked on social housing refurbishment. Roles and Responsibilities
Responsibility for the day to day management of the site, reporting to the Project Manager/ Contracts Manager. Responsibility for managing health, safety and environmental matters and ensure compliance with the management systems. Be able to prepare hazard/risk assessments, method statements, etc, ensuring quality, safety and environmental issues are established and documented before work commences. Carrying out regular inspections to monitor performance. Maintaining the site diary, issuing works records, recording extra works inc. site measurements. Preparation of fortnightly programmes. Preparing timesheets, plant records etc…
Requirements
At least 4 year's Site Management experience on social housing refurb schemes. Excellent communication skills. Good tenure. Ability to read intense drawings in detail. SMSTS. Full UK drivers license.
