Involve Recruitment are actively looking for a reliable and experienced Site Manager to join a contractor on a temporary basis, delivering new build, extension, and refurbishment projects in the food retail sector. The role involves overseeing live construction sites, often in operational retail environments, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and programme delivery.\nKey Responsibilities:\n * \n Daily management of site operations, labour, and subcontractors\n * \n Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification\n * \n Maintain high standards of health & safety, site housekeeping, and quality assurance\n * \n Liaise with the client, supply chain, and internal project teams\n * \n Manage site documentation, permits, and daily reports\n * \n Coordinate logistics, deliveries, and materials\nRequirements:\n * \n Demonstrable experience managing retail construction projects, ideally in food retail\n * \n Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive performance on-site\n * \n SMSTS, CSCS (Gold/Black), and First Aid – essential\n * \n Experience working in live store environments ()\n * \n Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel nationally as needed\nProject Types:\n * \n Supermarket new builds\n * \n Store extensions and phased refurbishments\n * \n Fast-track fit-outs in operational environments
