Salary: £50,000–£60,000 per annum
About the Role
An established regional construction company is looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead and manage construction and refurbishment projects across a variety of sectors, including housing, industrial, commercial, leisure, retail, health, and education. This is a key role responsible for the successful on-site delivery of projects—safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Manage all day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies and standards.
*
Lead site teams on new build and refurbishment projects across residential, educational, healthcare, commercial, and leisure sectors.
*
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to deliver high-quality work efficiently and collaboratively.
*
Oversee project budgets, monitor costs, and work closely with the commercial team to maintain financial control.
*
Implement robust site controls, reporting mechanisms, and ensure project KPIs are met or exceeded.
*
Develop and maintain strong supply chain relationships and support local procurement initiatives.
*
Ensure quality assurance processes are fully adhered to and take an active role in maintaining external certifications and audit compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
*
Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry.
*
Strong background in delivering both new-build and refurbishment projects across multiple sectors.
*
Excellent knowledge of construction methods, health and safety legislation, and industry best practices.
*
Ability to lead, motivate, and manage site teams effectively.
*
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
*
Financial awareness and experience working closely with quantity surveyors and commercial managers.
*
Commitment to continuous improvement and high-performance site delivery.
