Synergy Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for a Site Manager – Residential New Build & Conversion Project (Near Portsmouth, Hampshire)

A respected regional developer is looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead delivery on a mixed residential new build and conversion project near Portsmouth, Hampshire. This is a 15‑month direct contract with the client, offering the chance to take ownership of a high‑quality scheme from structure through to handover.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for:

Day‑to‑day management of site operations and subcontractors

*

Driving programme, quality, and health & safety standards

*

Coordinating with the Project Manager, design team, and client representatives

*

Managing logistics, sequencing, and site planning

*

Ensuring smooth progression from structural works through to finishing stages

*

Maintaining accurate site records, reporting, and compliance documentation

About You

You’ll be a great fit if you:

Have proven experience as a Site Manager on residential projects

Understand both new build and conversion environments and their technical challenges

Are confident leading teams, solving problems, and keeping the project moving

Have strong communication skills and a calm, organised approach

Package & Contract

15‑month direct contract with the client

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000, depending on experience
