Demolition Site Manager / Supervisor – Immediate Start – Hitchin
We are currently seeking an experienced Demolition Site Manager or Supervisor for an immediate start on a demolition project in Hitchin. The role will involve managing demolition works from soft strip through to structural demolition and site clearance, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and in line with client requirements. This is a hands-on site-based role coordinating subcontractors, plant movements, temporary works and site logistics within a live environment. Following completion of the Hitchin project, there is a strong pipeline of further demolition works across Hertfordshire, offering continuity of work for the right candidate.
Role Responsibilities: • Managing day-to-day demolition site operations • Supervising subcontractors, plant and labour on site • Ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with programme • Overseeing soft strip, structural demolition and site clearance • Managing RAMS, permits and site documentation • Liaising with client, engineers and project team • Monitoring progress and coordinating logistics • Ensuring HSEQ compliance and site standards
Requirements: • Proven demolition site management / supervision experience • SMSTS or SSSTS (essential) • CCDO Gold/Black (preferred) • First Aid (preferred) • Strong HSE awareness • Ability to start immediately
