Job Description

A market-leading Steel Specialist is currently looking for a Senior Site Manager to be based on projects in London. The company works on iconic and bespoke special projects, as well as larger London-based construction projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Day-to-day site management, including direction and coordination of all site activities carried out by the company and its subcontractors, with a focus on health and safety, planning, programming, and coordination with off-site activities.
2. On-site management and control of the company's site operations, including in-house and subcontracted activities.
3. Monitoring, recording, and documenting site activities, including compiling site progress reports.

Knowledge & Experience:

• Strong knowledge of steel construction methods and practices in a management role.
• Experience in planning and programming steel work and related packages.
• Production of risk assessments, method statements, and related site documentation.
• Experience in erecting steel structures, including high-rise, medium-rise, city centre structures, refurbishment work, and welding operations.

Qualifications:

• CSCS Gold/Black/Platinum card in site management.
• SMSTS or IOSH equivalent.
• CPCS Appointed Person – lifting operations (advantageous).
