Site Manager (Social Housing) | £40,000 – £45,000 + car allowance / package | Permanent | North West London / HertsJob OverviewI have a great opportunity for a Site Manager to join a well-established main contractor on a permanent basis, working on projects in North West London and Hertfordshire.The company are a family run business that have been around for approximately 30 years. They have a wide and varied client base which include Local Authorities, Housing Associations and Private Sector Clients.They work on a range of projects including external works packages, decent homes, complete refurbishment of schools, gyms and houses, roof renewals, M&E works and new build projects.The business has a young, dynamic and energetic management team with a strong business plan in place; they are further developing their client base and this is great opportunity to join a growing business.ResponsibilitiesThey are looking for a Site Manager with a strong track record working on Social Housing projects; with experience of decent homes, external works, roof renewals and full refurbishments. The Site Manager must be self-motivated, able to work on their own initiative and possess excellent managerial skills.Work closely with the client and provide full support on any site issuesSet up contract file and H&S documentation such as CPH&SP, Risk assessments, method statementsEnsure that all quality control, environmental and H&S requirements are met in line with company proceduresIdentify high risk activities and ensure the appropriate resources and procedures are implemented to identify and mitigate risksManage project staff and all sub-contractorsMonitor site cost with the support of the Quantity Surveyor and Project ManagerProvide weekly progress reports to the Project / Contracts ManagerCarry out site audits / inspections and report findings to the Project / Contracts ManagerRequirementsExperience working on Social Housing projects for a reputable main contractorTrack record overseeing decent homes, external works, roof renewals and full refurbishmentsSelf-motivated and able to work on their own initiativeExcellent managerial skillsSMSTS, CSCS and First AidAbility to work as part of a teamGood communication skills, both written and verbalProficiency using office IT applications such as Microsoft Excel and Word or equivalent softwareBe punctual and have good timekeepingCan take instruction and effectively carry out tasksIf you are a Site Manager and you are interested in this role, please apply with an updated CV.We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates. #J-18808-Ljbffr
