Site Manager (No. 2 on site) \nYorkshire\nStart: April / May \nSalary: £40,000 – £45,000 + Car Allowance + Package\n\nMy client, a well-established and reputable main contractor, is looking to appoint an Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of projects across the Yorkshire region.\nThis is a great opportunity for someone looking to step into or develop further in a Number 2 Site Manager role, supporting the Site Manager in the successful delivery of construction projects.\n\nTHE ROLE\nWorking closely with the Site Manager, you will assist with the day-to-day running of construction sites, helping to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards. You will play a key role in coordinating subcontractors, monitoring progress, and maintaining site organisation.\n\nPROJECT TYPES\n\n•\tSteel frame industrial units\n•\tRetail developments\n•\tDrive-thru units (e.g.

coffee shops and quick service restaurants)\n•\tNew build and refurbishment schemes\n\nThese projects offer a varied workload and the opportunity to gain experience across both new build and refurbishment environments.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n•\tSupporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day management of site operations\n•\tSupervising subcontractors and ensuring work is completed to programme\n•\tAssisting with site health & safety and ensuring compliance with regulations\n•\tMonitoring quality and reporting progress to the Site Manager\n•\tHelping coordinate deliveries, logistics, and site activities\n•\tAssisting with site documentation and reporting\n\nREQUIREMENTS\n •\tPrevious experience in an Assistant Site Manager / Site Supervisor role within construction\n•\tExperience working on industrial, retail, or commercial projects is beneficial\n•\tStrong organisational and communication skills\n•\tProactive and willing to learn from senior site management\n•\tRelevant qualifications such as SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid\n\nPACKAGE\n•\t£40,000 – £45,000 salary\n•\tStandard company benefits package\n\nApply now with an up to date CV or contact Dan Standish at Kenton Black (Leeds) for more info
