Freelance Site Manager – Factory Refurbishment (Sudbury) Start Date: January Contract Length: Approx. 3 months Location: Sudbury, Suffolk We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a factory refurbishment project commencing in January. The successful candidate will take responsibility for day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on schedule, and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities: * Manage all on-site activities for the refurbishment works * Coordinate subcontractors and trades * Ensure H&S compliance and maintain site documentation * Monitor progress and report to the project lead * Oversee quality control and resolve site issues promptly Requirements: * Proven experience as a Site Manager on industrial/refurb projects * Strong understanding of construction H&S regulations * SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certificates * Ability to manage teams and maintain a well-organised site * Good communication and reporting skills This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Approach Personnel Ltd that is operating as an employment business.
