Site Manager – Fit-Out (Confidential Client) Location: Hinkley Point C, Somerset Job Type: Permanent The Opportunity We are working with a well-established, award-winning construction and interiors contractor delivering high-quality projects across highly regulated environments in the UK. Operating as a collaborative partner, the business specialises in commercial construction, specialist fit-out, refurbishment, and workplace solutions, with a strong reputation for safety, quality, and sustainability. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager with fit-out expertise to join their team on a flagship project at Hinkley Point C. The Role As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards within a highly regulated environment. Key responsibilities will include: * Managing all on-site activities, subcontractors, and logistics * Ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards * Driving programme delivery and coordinating with project stakeholders * Maintaining quality control across fit-out and interior works * Supporting project reporting, progress tracking, and issue resolution * Ensuring compliance within a regulated, safety-critical environment About You * Proven experience as a Site Manager within fit-out / interiors projects * Experience working in highly regulated sectors (e.g. nuclear, pharma, cleanroom, or similar) is highly desirable * Strong understanding of health & safety and site compliance * Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills * Ability to manage fast-paced programmes and multiple stakeholders * Relevant qualifications (e.g. SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid) What’s on Offer * Permanent opportunity with a growing, forward-thinking contractor * Involvement in a major UK infrastructure project * Strong focus on employee development, training, and progression * Supportive, collaborative working culture * Competitive salary and benefits package
